Located on the picturesque Astoria, Oregon coast, Astoria Pointe and The Rosebriar Residential Treatment Centers assist men and women, respectively, in detoxing and maintaining recovery from chemical dependency, alcoholism and drug addiction.

Astoria Pointe is a complete program for recovery that deals with all forms of chemical addiction and dual-diagnosed individuals, taking our clients all the way from detoxification to aftercare. Astoria Pointe is a 35-bed men’s facility; the accommodations are clean, modern and beautifully decorated. Recent renovations include new wall finishes, furniture, décor and other amenities. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with a relaxing, homelike appeal.

Along with its appealing aesthetics, Astoria Pointe has in-house laundry facilities, a workout room and a game room; or a resident can just relax in our comfortable front room that overlooks the magnificent Columbia River. The grounds of Astoria Pointe are beautiful and perfect for a relaxing stroll. Historical houses dot the hillsides; forests and evergreens abound.

The Rosebriar

The Rosebriar is also a comprehensive recovery program for women dealing with all manifestations of chemical addiction and dual-diagnosed individuals, from detoxification to aftercare. Our medically monitored detoxification and 12-step-based recovery program provide a unique, holistic approach that treats the entire person: body, mind and soul.

Also nestled in the natural beauty of the city of Astoria, Oregon, The Rosebriar has an interesting and extensive history. Built in 1902 in the neo-classical style with an abundance of historic charm, it was originally constructed as a private home. Later, in the 1950s, it became a convent, and was eventually transformed to a girls’ school. Finally, in the 1990s, it was renovated and updated with private baths to serve as a quality Bed & Breakfast. This grand old Georgian mansion sits high on the hill, offering commanding views of the majestic Columbia River, the Megler Bridge and the town of Astoria.

The Rosebriar offers an ideal setting for our female clients. A feeling of warmth, serenity, safety and love greets women as they walk through the front doors, and the original stained- glass windows still stand in the chapel, where clients have group sessions. The grounds, handsomely landscaped with a stream and shrine of shells built by the nuns, enhance a woman’s stay and help her on her road to recovery; she will find a welcome refuge for her tired spirits.
